Alexander McQueen famously said, “Demolish the rules, but keep the tradition.” While this sentiment resonates deeply throughout the entire collection, it is especially relevant to the construction of this skirt. A cape RE:imagined as the middle tier of this skirt and a petticoat utilized for additional volume but - to the tune of demolishing the rules - visible. This skirt is definitely a showstopper.
